Current Physical TBR 8.7.18

For a while now, I’ve been doing this thing on Twitter for a while, where I post a photo of my physical TBR (the majority of which are usually library books) and tag the authors. I just do whenever I feel like it, so there’s no commitment.

I decided that I should take this thing onto my blog, so people can see just how much I use my local library system.

My Current Physical TBR

1. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, which I’ve heard a lot of hype about and I decided that I would finally start reading some of the most popular YA fantasy series, as I’ve recently been on a bit of a YA sci-fi/fantasy reading kick.

2. One Dark Throne and Queens of Fennbirn by Kendare Blake, as the Three Dark Crowns series is my current obsession and I couldn’t help but order the follow-ups to that amazing, dark and fantastical series opener.

3. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken, as I want to get started with this series before I go to watch the film. Also see my reasons for Six of Crows.

4. Tyler Johnson Was Here by Jay Coles, which has been on my TBR for a while now. It tackles police brutality and racism and apparently is beautifully written. In addition to this, that cover is absolutely gorgeous.

5. The Extinction Trials: Exile by S.M.Wilson, as I started reading the first book in the series (The Extinction Trials) this morning, after constantly hearing how good it was from bookish Twitter. It certainly hasn’t disappointed. The Extinction Trials is fast-paced, exciting and just draws you into this brilliant world.

That’s my current physical TBR, but what’s on your TBR right now? Have you read any of the books I’ve mentioned and how were they? Let me know in the comments.
