My December TBR

Another delayed post, but it made it here eventually.

Today I want to share all the books I want to read before 2019:

My December TBR:

1. People Like Us by Dana Male:

This is my current read and it’s the perfect blend of private school politics, gripping mystery and snarky comebacks.

2. Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo:

I started reading the Shadow and Bone trilogy as part of Team BKMRK’s #ShadowandBoneReadalong last month with the titular book and have utterly fallen in love. The setting, the characterisation, just the sheer beauty of everything is incredible.

3. Dear Evan Hansen:

I am a big musicals fan and when I heard Dear Evan Hansen was getting a novelisation, I knew I had to pick up a copy. Luckily, my local library had ordered some copies, so I now get a chance to read it. It’s probably the closest I’ll get to actually watching the show, so I’ll have the soundtrack playing in the background as I read it, to fully capture the experience.

4. The Crimes of Grindelwald: The Original Screenplay

On Sunday, I finally get to go and watch one of my most anticipated films of the year. Then I intend to immediately delve into the screenplay to spot any little details I might have missed, when I was caught up in the magical Wizarding World.

5. Sadie by Courtney Summers

This sounds like such an amazing and gripping YA thriller, which has been on my radar for quite a while. That’s why I didn’t hesitate when I saw it when I visited London back in October. I’m trying to read a fair few of the books I own but haven’t read yet, so I have an excuse to buy more books!

This is my first time setting up an official TBR for myself, so that’s why I’ve only included five books and these are my priority reads for the month.

Over To You:

Which books are you hoping to read before 2019?

Have you read any of the books I’ve mentioned above? If so, what did you think of them?
