This is a really interesting challenge created by Novel Knight, which I saw at The Perks of Being Noura and I’ve decided to try it out next year!
Here are the guidelines:
- The book must have been published in 2018 or earlier to count. It can be in any format (including an ARC/eARC) as long as the release date is earlier than 2019.
- You have to start and finish the book in 2019 to count it. Any books started in 2018 and finished in 2019 do not count. Any books started in 2019 and finish in 2020 also do not count.
- The challenge runs from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019
My TBR:
This is just a starting point, as I’m sure I’ll find plenty more amazing books that were published pre-2019 during the year.
There is also a mini challenge where you join part of your Hogwarts house to them win points and I’m a very proud Ravenclaw, so obviously I’ll be trying to do my house proud!
Over To You:
Are there any backlist books you want to read in 2019?
Great list! I have so many “backlisted” books that I won’t be able to read them all before I die. However, if I joined this challenge I, at least, could make a small dent. Very small, but a start. 😉

A start is always worth it! I think I’ll be the same, as people keep giving me more and more recommendations. Thanks for your lovely comment and I’m glad you enjoyed the list.

I’ve got my fingers crossed! I’m doing an 18 days of 2018 series that will include 19 books I’m looking forward to for next year and that was hard enough to whittle down, so it’s going to be a great reading year.

Hope you can tank the challenge for the Ravenclaw! I loved Girls of Paper and Fire, I hope you like it.

I’ll be doing my best to support Ravenclaw. I’ve ordered it and it should arrive today! Glad you enjoyed it though.
