November/December Haul

I haven’t done a book haul since October, so for today’s post, I wanted to share the books I’ve bought or received over the past few months!

Firstly, I want to discuss something really exciting that happened for me!

I received my first ever ARC last month, so a huge thank you to Pan Macmillan and My Kinda Book for granting my request for Enchantée! I loved this book when I read it earlier this autumn with magic, political intrigue and beautiful writing, so I can’t wait to re-read it and bring out a full review soon.

All The Other Books I Received:

Between my birthday last month and Christmas yesterday, I’ve been lucky enough to receive loads of great books from both friends and family. I’ve read all but one of these and they are all incredible stories that I would highly recommend, most of which I blather about all the time on here!

All The Books I Bought:

I had a bit of money left over from my birthday, so I decided to treat myself to some books! I found the special edition of Batman to complete my hardback collection of the DC Icons series and also happened to see Girls of Paper and Fire while I was browsing. It’s been on my radar for a while, so I decided to pick it up and give it a go.

Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix was bought from a local independent bookshop, as was Siege and Storm.

I found Beautiful Broken Things for just £2.99 in a local Oxfam and, as I enjoyed it so much last year, I just couldn’t resist.

Finally, I saw the version of One of Us Is Lying with red sprayed edges in Waterstones, and it was buy one, get one half price with a book I wanted to get for my friend, so it just fell into my basket…

Over To You:

Which awesome books have you bought or received over the past few months?

Have you read any of the books I’ve mentioned above and if so, what did you think of them?
