May has just flown by! I didn’t get to post as much as I wanted to, but I’m proud of what I’ve achieved this month anyway, especially my UKYABA nomination!
I managed to read 23 books this month and you can check out brief reviews/thoughts on each of them in my Weekly Wrap-Ups:
Emma from Never Judge A Book By It’s Cover and I started a brand new feature that we are co-hosting, where we share a book, preferably UKYA, that’s under-rated and try to start a conversation about it last month and I’ve been trying to post regularly, but life’s gotten in the way a bit!
Firstly, I was so excited to see these beautiful copies of The Kingdom and We Hunt The Flame arrive in my post, so thanks to My Kinda Book, Amber Ivatt and Pan Macmillan for gifting me a free copy in exchange for an honest review. I’m currently buddy reading WHTF with the awesome Kerys and it’s so, so good.
I had pre-ordered Last Bus To Everland and the Fairyloot edition of Finale, which I loved. I also received Descendant of the Crane and All We Could Have Been though Illumicrate and Widest Dreams Book Box respectively.
I also splurged a bit at a local independent book store, picking up Girl Made of Stars, Blanca & Roja and Wild Beauty with a book voucher, as a huge post-exam treat to myself.
