In contrast to March, April just seemed to fly by for me! I was lucky enough to be nominated for the UKYABAs for Best Newcomer and Most Inspirational, which absolutely made my month. I also hit a thousand followers on Twitter, so I’m running a giveaway!
- Last Lesson
- Chosen Ones
- Red Hood, If These Wings Could Fly and Rules For Being a Girl
- The June Boys
- The Deck of Omens
- Good Girl, Bad Blood
Somehow, despite being in lockdown, I’ve amassed more books than ever!
The first pile is all books that were very kindly gifted to me by four amazing people on Twitter: Holly gave me Crier’s War, Jemma sent me These Witches Don’t Burn, Moon gifted me A Phoenix Must First Burn and Asha gave me Wild and Crooked. I am extremely grateful to this four kind souls for these awesome books!
Secondly, here are all the books I received from publishers (and a friend) this month. Charlie at Little Tiger sent me Here Lie The Secrets, Scholastic kindly gave me an ARC of Good Girls Die First, Niamh and Kate at Hodder joined together to send me Girl, Serpent, Thorn and the wonderful Laurie at Simon and Schuster sent me Seven Endless Forests. I was lucky enough to win an ARC of The Good Girls from the lovely Kurestin Armada and my good friend Amber gave me her copy of Belle Révolte.
Finally, the last pile are all the books I bought this month. I’d preordered Venom, The Deck of Omens and We Unleash The Merciless Storm, but also decided to treat myself to The Black Flamingo, Winterwood and Havenfall.
Thank you for reading and I hope you’re all staying safe and well.
