Review Policy

I would prefer to accept physical copies of books, but I would still love ebooks as well.

Thank you in advance for wanting me to read your book! However I can’t guarantee that I can read/review every book I’m requested to. If I am interested I will respond and we can discuss how to go forward.

I’m open to doing author interviews and participating in blog tours. However I preferably need a two weeks notice for blog tours and I retain the right to not take part in the tour if I don’t like the book.

If I don’t like a book, I will let you know but I can’t promote it, as I prefer to be honest in my reviews.

I predominantly read Young Adult (YA) and would mainly like to review that genre. 

I aim to read and review books within a month of them being sent and at least a month before they’re published.

When emailing me please do include: Summary of book, cover image, publisher, release date, review post date (if any) and format. Any extra information would also be appreciated.

Reviewing System:

I use a system of symbols to denote the diversity of books with ⭐️ to represent POC characters/AOC, 🏳️‍🌈 for LGBT+ authors/characters, 💙 for disabled authors/characters and🧠 for mental health representation.

⭐️ = Hated it

⭐️.5 = Strongly disliked it

⭐️ ⭐️ = Disliked it

⭐️ ⭐️.5 = It was just ok

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ = I enjoyed it, but it was forgettable

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ .5 = Had great moments but something was missing for me

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ = Really enjoyed it

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ .5= Loved it, would probably buy a copy of it
